This Spring primary classes across Brighton & Hove (and beyond!) signed up to read William Sutcliffe’s Circus of Thieves and the Raffle of Doom. It has been another successful year for Young City Reads, a year which saw 50 primary school classes take part in the project, with 300 books given away to schools in areas of need across the city. 670 children attended the finale event at Brighton’s Theatre Royal and 150 children took part in free drama workshops to enhance the reading experience.
